The latest update not only includes bug fixes but he added new features, as well:
Fix:
Miss Mimi will no longer marry you as soon as you get into the bar
The screen will no longer scroll without you if you hit a hazard off map
Changed the pricing of torches and how long they last. Less $, more light
Instructions are a little more helpful now, use d-pad right to scroll pages
Slightly lowered hazard spawn rate and increased mineral spawn rate

Search the area button. (Press Cross while underground to check area.)
Controls:
* Start - forces a restart.
* Select - takes a screenshot.
* Dpad - move miner (up enters a building).
* Cross - exits buildings.
* Triangle - respawns mine at a cost of 00.
* Analog - move left/right faster in town.
